The MAGIC HCG Program


You have taken the first and most important step of an amazing weight loss journey. Along with thousands of other people who have used MAGIC HCG, you too will begin to achieve unbelievable results. MAGIC HCG will outline the different phases of the HCG diet as originally presented in Dr. Simeons HCG diet book – “Pounds and Inches”.

In the following pages you will become familiar with the four phases listed below. It is very important that you read and fully understand what is involved. Your success will depend on you following the program exactly as listed.

At first, it may seem overwhelming, but as you start to follow the diet, you will start seeing the results you want right away. Can you imagine yourself in perfect health?

Phase 1: Taking the MAGIC HCG Drops and Preparation (Days 1 – 2)

Phase 2: Starting the Low Calorie Diet Along With the MAGIC HCG Drops (3 or 6 weeks)

Phase 3: Stabilization (3 weeks)

Phase 4: Keeping Your Weight off Forever! (Maintenance)


Phase 1: Taking the MAGIC HCG Drops and Preparation (Days 1 – 2)

On day 1, start taking the MAGIC HCG drops.

1.How to take the drops:
Place 10-15 drops under your tongue and hold them there for 2 minutes. Swallow the remaining liquid.

**Note: Be sure to take 10-15 drops, 3 times per day, for a total of 30-45 drops. Once in the morning, 30 minutes before lunch, and again 30 minutes before dinner.

2.During the first two days of taking the MAGIC HCG drops, you will need to eat as much food as you possibly can. You will want to be storing fat to be used as energy during the low calorie portion of the diet.


**Eat whatever you like. There are no restrictions these first two days**

Phase 2: Starting the Low Calorie Diet Along With the MAGIC HCG Drops (3 or 6 weeks)

1.On the 3rd day, you will begin stage 2, a low calorie diet, consisting of 500 calories per day. Depending on how much weight you want to lose, continue phase 2 of the MAGIC HCG diet from 3 to 6 weeks. You should see a weight loss of 1 to 2 pounds per day.

2.Keep the same routine. Every morning, after using the toilet, weigh yourself without clothes and keep a daily record of your weight.

3.Eat only the foods from the following lists below. No variations are allowed. If a food item is not on the list, then DO NOT EAT IT.

Protein: Two 100 gram servings per day


White Fish (Halibut, Cod, Tilapia)

Extra Lean Ground Beef




Lean Steak


Whey Protein

**You will need to remove all of the fat from the meat. Don’t use oils to cook the meat, and avoid using any spices that contain sugar.**

Vegetables: Two servings per day










Red Radishes


Beet Greens

**A little bit of hot sauce and mustard makes an excellent dressing**

**You may use the allowed vegetables to make a salad**

Bread: Two servings per day

1 melba toast

1 grissini

**Melba toast is available at most grocery stores. Grissini is available at health food stores and Italian markets.**

Fruit: Two servings per day

1 apple

1 orange

½ grapefruit

Handful of strawberries

Beverages: Unlimited amounts

Black coffee

Unsweetened Tea


Diet Soda (sweetened with stevia or xylitol)

**Try to consume at least 2-3 liters of water per day.**

**Use stevia and saccharin (Sweet n Low) as your only sweeteners. Don’t use aspartame, sucralose (Splenda), or sugar.**

**Limit your intake of diet soda’s to no more than 700mL per day**

Spices and Seasonings

You can use any spices you like. Just be sure they don’t contain any sugar. Salt and pepper are allowed. Be sure to read the ingredients of everything you consume. Even a small amount of a food or drink that is not allowed can slow down your diet and give you negative results.

Phase 3: Stabilization (3 weeks)

1.Starting in Phase 3, you can begin to add more food back into your diet.

2.Make sure you avoid anything containing sugar or starch during this 3 week stabilization period.

3.You can have meat, fats and oils, nuts and vegetables.

4.Do not eat fruits as they contain sugar.

5.Although you may choose to consume some dairy such as cheese and low fat sour cream, it is best to avoid dairy which has a high sugar (lactose) content such as milk and yogurt.

6.It is best to add foods back into your diet one at a time so you may see how your body reacts to each item.

7.Continue to weigh yourself every day, you are not to lose more than 2 pounds or gain more than 2 pounds. If you lose weight, you need to eat more. If you gain weight, you need to do a “steak day” the same day as the weight gain. This is NOT a time to reduce calories, you are training your body to be able to eat more calories and maintain your body weight.

**Steak Day:

Anytime during the stabilization or maintenance period that you gain 2 pounds, the very same day you weigh over, do not eat any food until the evening meal – and then eat a large steak (up to 14oz) cooked in oil or butter and 1 apple or a tomato. The weight should be gone by morning.

8.Continue to drink 2-3 litres of water per day

Fish, All types

Flank Steak

Non Fat/1% Sugar Free Yogurt

Suggested Vegetables/Fibrous Carbohydrates (Phase 3)

Sprouts (bean, alfalfa, etc.)

Sea Vegetables (Nori, etc)



Spaghetti Squash

Greens – lettuces, spinach, chard, etc.

Cabbage (or sauerkraut)


Brussels Sprouts

Celery Root (Celeriac)

Hearty Greens - collards, mustard greens, kale, etc.


Green Bell Peppers


Carrots (in small quantities)

Radicchio and endive count as greens


Red Bell Peppers



Herbs - parsley, cilantro, basil, rosemary, thyme, etc.


Jalapeno Peppers

Artichoke Hearts

Water Chestnuts

Bok Choy

Cucumbers (or pickles without added sugars)

Summer Squash (including Zuchinni)




Scallions or green onions




Bamboo Shoots

Foods to be Avoided

The main foods to be avoided when reducing carbohydrates are the starchier foods such as:


·Beans (all of them, even green beans)






·Potatoes/Yams (all types)

·Winter Squashes (particularly acorn and butternut)

·Grains (cereal, bread, pasta, rice)



·Cakes, cookies, desserts (all foods containing sugar)

Phase 4: Keeping Your Weight off Forever! (Maintenance)

Up to this point of the MAGIC HCG diet, you have learned which foods have been harming you and which foods have been beneficial. We congratulate you on forming new and better habits to help you live the life of freedom that you have always desired. You now, mentally and physically, feel better than ever before. With this new confidence and outlook on life, we want you to continue to be conscious of the life choices you make.

If you are one that suffers symptoms like allergies or arthritis and you felt better while you were on the MAGIC HCG diet, this would be an indication that various foods may have created your symptoms. Keep a journal of the foods you are adding back into your diet and monitor your symptoms. This is an excellent time to identify the “offenders” and avoid these foods in the future. Many people stick to the suggested foods mentioned in Phase 3 of the MAGIC HCG program to ensure long term results.

The MAGIC HCG Diet is all about making a change in your lifestyle. Losing weight is definitely a part of that change but the key is to lose weight and keep it off FOREVER! Take time to educate yourself on the causes of obesity, and surround yourself with people who to share the same goals as you do.
